Headteacher's Welcome

Four Dwellings Primary School is a beautiful new building!

As soon as everything is in place, we will have an open day for families and members of the community.  The new school has enabled us to provide the absolute best for our children, so our future looks so good.

September 2012 marks the start of not only the new building but a new era for Four Dwellings Primary School.  Our school is working in partnership with Robin Hood Primary School, and I will be Executive Head of both schools.  The partnership will ensure the best provision, opportunities and experiences for all teachers, all children and both communities.  As the new setting and the partnership develops, the website and class blogs will keep you informed of our progress.  To support me in my role, the Senior Leadership Team at Four Dwellings Primary School; Mrs Nicholson (Deputy Head), Miss McClelland and Mrs Downs (Assistant Head Teachers), and Mr Purnell and Mr Smith (Deputy Head Teachers at Robin Hood Primary School) will all be available to work with you.

We all look forward to meeting you and sharing our work to ensure that the best education possible is available for your children.  The staff are talented, enthusiastic, creative and totally committed to making Four Dwellings Primary School a safe, exciting and stimulating environment, where learning flourishes and every child receives an excellent start in life.

I look forward to working with you and making Four Dwellings Primary an outstanding school.

Best wishes

Richard Hunter
